After 2004 Tsunami, geologist are trying to predict the Tsunami in the beginning itself to avoid massive destruction. The team of American geologists found the DART scheme to predict the tsunami. DART stands for Deep-Ocean Assessment and Reporting Tsunamis. In this system, sensors are placed in the bottom surface of the ocean. The sensors are Bottom Pressure Recorder and some transducers. They have a CPU in this kit for the purpose of computation and record. These ate fit to the ground with the help of 720 lbs anchor. In the next post we discuss about the function of DART system.
