Hydroelectric power generation

Power has become one of the depleting resources nowadays as they are developed from non renewable resources. One of the ways to continue power generation without any problem is generating power from renewable resources like water, light etc. The hydroelectric power generation is one of the widely used means of power generation. The latest technology in hydro electric power generation is generating power from sea waves which are nothing but undersea windmills. These hydrosystems employ gearboxes and speed increasers which increase the speed of slow rotating rotors and transform the mechanical energy developed in the turbines into electricity.
