Basketball on the roll

Sports are something which rejuvenates you after a tiresome day. Sports can be entertainment or quite serious. For a techie person like me, I would expect sport to be a stress buster. Yet, being addicted to technology makes me see the technical aspects that are present in sport. Take examples of scores, positions of players, speed of the ball to the millionth of a second, the snickometer and what not? Everything seems to be quite exciting when you look the background processing in sports. Visual factories have become the order of the day. Every tournament and every channel has its own way of presenting to the audience. Let me take you the next level of background processing in sports. We call it betting. Betting is more of a mind game and careful observation. Some say it is a game of chance. Some say there is a lot of planning that goes into it. Betting can be on teams or players or the scores. Ultimately it is a matter of show off. When someone wins in a sport, he becomes a hero. People listen to him because what he predicted was right. Let us take examples of basketball betting where people bet on which team would win or the number of baskets in half game.
