There is an increased level of stress in humans these days. If you ask me which part of the body is highly affected, I can say they are the eyes. The advent of technology in nook and corner of the world and high usage of computers have made people becoming slaves to computers. This leads to watery eyes or dry eyes because people keep staring at computer monitors for longs hours without taking rest. This further leads to increase in power of the eyes. I mean the biological power – elongation or flattening of lens. Therefore people are prone to myopia or hypermetropia or even axis change. If you had noticed, more and more people have started wearing lenses either as spectacles or as contact lenses or they undergo surgeries like LASER or LASIC. Doesn’t this post seem to be full of medical jargons? When I was doing a research on Ergonomics, these were an important portion of study which I need to do. It was alarming but quite informative. It is always wise to tell others of the ill effects of something which people use the most in their lives like mobile phones or laptops. So do take my advice and refresh your eyes time and again in your everyday work to avoid serious problems later.
